Earlier this year a long-time friend of my family and fellow singer/ songwriter set out to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a full time artist. So, he resigned from his job and began performing throughout the city of Jacksonville and surrounding areas. As time passed, he found that he wasn't getting enough gigs. Needless to say our dear friend decided to relocate to a city where his career would thrive. So after searching the only thing left to do was visit that city. After his visit and more thought we got that call. Our friend would be moving to Austin, Texas. There we had it. After the relocation his music career is now thriving and he is playing at numerous venues. He’s gotten much feedback on the uniqueness of his musical style, and he’s even had offers from prospective managers. Now I ask you the question, if you had an opportunity to relocate to pursue your life-long dream (music or any other) would you go for it? Hey give me your thoughts and even if you're already relocated, please share your experiences.

I recently purchased a copy of Uncle Reece's LP “ Bold” and I'll tell you, it was everything I expected and more. The song I immediately connected with is Where I Belong. Being a fellow artist, I understand the journey I must travel on the way to my destiny. I love all the songs on this LP because each song has it's own powerful message sure to touch the hearts of the listeners. If you have listened to this CD let me know what you think. If not, get it and let me know what you think.
